I Love You to the Moon and Back Book Reviews

Below are some reviews from readers.

“Fantastic book that tries to explain the unexplainable – the love a parent has for their child.” – Jon Nakapalau

“This is a sweet story of a bear and her cub. They spend the whole day together and love each other so much. They touch noses, play chase, and hug a lot! It’s just a sweet story to express how much the momma loves her cub! I think this is a great story about how much a parent loves their child, and would be a great discussion book as well.” – Jenna Randolph

“Cutest book ever. My 2 year old has over 100 books because she loves them so much. Her book habit is getting expensive so we recently got her a library card, but this book is so cute. I like the pictures and it’s an easy read on nights when I don’t have the energy to read something with a ton of words and lots of questions from my little one.” – Richeward

“My daughter and I…Our saying to each other: “I Love you to the Moon & Back” This past June she sent me a picture of this book and the caption said “I think your new grandson/granddaughter will need this book!” Couldn’t of been a more perfect announcement!! I bought the book and gave it to her for my grandchild who’s due to arrive in February!! The book is cute…..although it doesn’t have the phrase in it.” – Shannon

“I found this to be such an incredibly beautiful book, with the very clear message explained in a simply way, about the love a mummy/daddy feels for their child the illustrations in this book just compliment the heart melting verses. I can only imagine a child to feel like they were at the centre of their parent’s world, with the power of love surrounding. A delightful book to share with your child, I couldn’t ask more a nice size for little hands, each board page is highly laminated therefor easy to wipe clean from a book and highly recommended makes an excellent gift.” – Peace

“Amelia Hapworth and Tim Warnes have created a cute and calming reading experience. This book is for parents who want to express their love to their children so they feel safe and protected. Personally I think the most important thing you can tell your children is that you love them unconditionally. This book helps you do that. The two main characters in this bedtime story are bears, but there are also illustrations of foxes, fish, rabbits, mice, squirrels and an owl. So really this can be an interactive experience if children point out and name the animals. The setting is a forest with snow capped mountains and a glowing sunrise at the start. So, a beautiful book with cute illustrations and a meaningful message.” – Rebecca

“Really simple story which I was skeptical at first but now my 9 month old wants to read it over and over before bed!! So cute. Easy read, simple but cute illustrations. It’s hard for me to buy books when a lot of children’s books are oddly lacking. We love this book. Definitely recommend.” – Samantha

“My daughter doesn’t enjoy books that last a while on one page or doesn’t have any pictures as she’s only 6mo. She loves when I read this one to her. The pictures are vibrant and have many colors and there’s not a lot to read on each page. Fits perfectly for her. And it’s a board book so she can’t rip the pages when she’s trying to grab it while I’m reading to her! The story is super cute and I act it out with her while I read it.” – Sierra Smith

“I purchased this as a part of a book collection for a baby gift. It’s super cute and very well made for a board book. The imagery is very bright and super cute. The story line is something that could definitely be something that even younger children would like. I would definitely recommend this as an addition to story time.” – Leo

“This is so awesome especially since my son and daughters room theme is love you to the moon and back. So to actually have a book that says this was perfect. As well the story line is exactly how I feel about my twins.” – Tabatha Kohler

“I bought this for our granddaughter who we always tell “WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK” each time we see her. It is a cute book with brightly colored pages. The print on each page is well defined and easy to read. This book can be read to a child or an older child could read him/herself. This is a board book so it should hold up well. As you read the book it leads one to add side comments and relates to a child’s imagination. Younger kids love to imitate touching noses and etc. My only con is that it does not use the phrase, “I love you to the moon and back.” This is a major oops in my opinion.” – Linda
